Ministry
I’m so glad you’re checking out the things we offer at VCC for our women. It’s our desire to encourage you and all the women of our church to find the deep, forever love of God, to develop meaningful relationships with other women in the church, to learn more about the beauty of loving and worshipping Jesus, and to discover creative expressions of the gifts God has given to each woman.
Currently, we have groups meeting to study a wonderful Beth Moore DVD series, Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy. This series is a faith-building study of prophecy and helps us learn how to shine for Christ in our modern culture. Just as the prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures—to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats — today's believers face many of the same trials.
This 12-session study falls in two parts. We will be studying the first part for six weeks, beginning the week of October 12, and finishing right before Thanksgiving. After the holidays, we will complete the second half of the study. This is a life-changing study, one which I hope every woman in our church will pursue.
Registration for the course will be $20, which includes a beautiful Member Book and will help cover our costs for leader’s guides and all the DVD’s we will need to purchase for each of our groups to function. The Member Book is a personal interactive study for five days a week plus viewer guides for the video sessions.
Most of our groups will meet in homes, and we may also offer a group at the church. You will find information about the various groups at the registration table in the back lobby of the church near the bookstore.
I hope you will join us for this amazing time together! Small groups are one of the best ways to really make friends in the church, and to find strength in the Lord. Also, Beth Moore teachings are such in-depth Bible studies, entertaining to watch, and extremely applicable to every woman’s life!
If you are interested in a home group for this study, please call the church office at 949/425-3787. We have wonderful, loving women who lead each of these groups; and the groups will definitely help you to bond with other women and enjoy a deeper relationship with our Lord Jesus.
Women’s Ministry also features special events throughout the year. The next two will be our Fall celebration, and our Annual Candlelight Christmas Dinner, which is the most elegant of our celebrations. These are events you would love to attend and bring a friend. We also have a wonderful Annual Women’s Retreat each year in the Spring.
