| Small
groups are at the very heart of VCCs ministry. It is often in the small
group setting that people first develop both friendships at VCC and then loving
and caring relationships. If you are considering joining a small group at VCC
the process is easy. Simply call the leader of a group which interests you for
all the particulars. Most of our groups are open to new people, though occasionally
a group is closed because of numbers.
Small group leaders at VCC are trained in the pastoral care of their members.
We believe strongly in the exhortation Jesus gave to Peter to "shepherd His
sheep" and "tend His lambs." Our goal is to see every small group
member nurtured in Christ and watched over by a leader.
We encourage
all who attend VCC to become a part of a small group. We currently have over 40
small groups with a focus of interest for everyone including home fellowships,
Bible studies, mens and womens groups, worship and prayer.
